Merrywinter

Merrywinter is an annual seasonal event that takes place in winter around December. Merrywinter is mostly held in Fjolgard, with gifts also appearing in Fjolarok.

Activities

• Gathering Snowflakes from Festive Gifts, Giant Gifts and Gilded Gifts to trade with The Winter Man.
• Trading certain Cards with the Shady Dealer.
• Buying exclusive items and cosmetics from The Winter Man with Unique Snowflakes.
• Fighting Frost Crabs and Rude Holfs for Cheer and Spear cards
• Frogs are replaced by Penguins

Gifts

During the event, gifts will randomly spawn around Fjolarok and can be gathered for Snowflakes. There are three sizes of gifts: Festive, Giant and Gilded. Snowflakes can also be earned by turning in quests in Fjolarok. Gathering a gift rewards 40 reputation with The Winter Man.

The Winter Man

The Winter Man is an NPC and a matching faction who takes 15 snowflakes in exchange for a random Merrywinter item: Sprig of Mistletoe, Bottomless Eggnog, Glacial Eggnog, or Unique Snowflake. Turning in snowflakes also rewards 100 reputation. The Unique Snowflakes can be used to buy cosmetics or a special winter necklace.

• How many snowflakes per quest? One snowflake per quest completed.
• Which present gives more snowflakes? Presents are different sizes, which correspond to the amount of snowflakes you get.
• Where can I use snowflakes? The snowflakes can be traded to the winter man, who is in Fjorlgard (the town).
• What do I get for snowflakes? The winter man will give you mistletoe, unique snowflakes, and, very rarely, an ~eggnog.
• How many snowflakes can I trade? You trade snowflakes 15 at a time.

• What do you do with Cheer and Spear cards? These can be used to trade 6 at a time to the shady dealer.

• What's the spawn rate for frost crabs and rude holfs? Every 25 elk or titan crabs killed should result in a rude holf/frost crab.
