Glossary[edit]

This list explains Isleward-specific terms and abbreviations. Other terms used in games and MMOs specifically can be looked up on their own (such as on this site)

Terms[edit]

Account: The overall account of a user, potentially containing multiple characters. This is used to log in to Isleward.

Character: A playable character contained in an account.

Abbreviations[edit]

Acc: refers to a player's account

Amb: Rune of Ambush

Asc: Ascendant Idol

BB: Rune of Blood Barrier

BBW, Waffle, Waf: Big Bad Waffle, the main developer of Isleward.

Bone: Bone Idol

CB: Corrupted Blossom

CC: The Crystal Caves area

Char: refers to a player's character

COB: Cowl of Obscurity

Cons: Rune of Consecrate

Crit: Critical hit

Crystal: Digested Crystal

CS: The Rune of Crystal Spikes

Dev: Developer, usually Big Bad Waffle

Dex: Dexterity

DPS: Damage per second

DPT: Damage per tick

dglass, dg: Dragon-Glass Idol

Est: Estuary

Flurry: Rune of Flurry

Fof: Fangs of Fury

Gaek: Gaekatla

GP: Godly Promise

HL: Rune of Harvest Life

HT: Rune of Healing Touch

Int: Intellect

IWD: Isleward

Main: refers to a player's most used/preferred character

MM: Rune of Magic Missile

Mod: A server-side Mod (see also: Modding), a client-side Addon, or an in-game Moderator that helps new players and keeps players and the chat peaceful.
