Spirit Guide
Owl
Tips
Skeletons are many times used by slightly weaker owls to help keep enemies away by distracting them. Although it is recommended to use no more than 2, so that you have alternative attacks in case you are caught off guard while summoning a skeleton.
Ice Spear can be used to deliver a quick hit thanks to its low cast time.
Fireblast can be used by slightly tankier owls to keep mobs at distance for a few more ticks, allowing critical time to cast a final MM or cons to heal. It also works well when paired with Ice Spear or smite. In situations with multiple attackers, a lone owl can spawn fireblast and cons to tank until basic attacks and fireblast kill all the enemies. It is really helpful thanks to its low cast time and cooldown. Owls generally don't crowd farm much because the damage per tick of a lynx's Smokebomb exceeds the damage per tick of a Fireblast.
When engaging in combat alone, a Heal Touch may be used instead of a Consecrate as it provides better hpt.
Owls generally use Tomes as the preferred offhand slot item because of its Spell Crit Chance and multi implicits being more useful than the block chance implicit stat of the Shields. Some owls prefer to use shields for more armor, because owls are generally have less health and armor than other spirits. The strength requirement on shields can sometimes be a problem though.
Owls are generally best at single target damage or being healers
Bear
Tips
Stats to focus on:
- Strength
- Physical Damage Increase
- Vitality
- Health Regeneration
- Armor
- Life on Hit
- Poison/Arcane/All resistance
- Attack/Global Crit Chance
- Attack/Global Crit Multiplier
- Attack Speed
Rune of Whirlwind, which uses physical damage may be used in pairing with the LoH stat to aid in crowd-farming.
Rune of Flurry may be used in pairing with a high damage axe to deal large amounts of damage in a short period of time.
Bears generally use Shields as the preferred offhand slot item because of its block chance implicit stat being more useful than the Spell Crit Chance and multi implicits of the Tomes.
Lynx
Tips
Stats to focus on:
- Dexterity
- Physical and Poison Damage Increase
- Block Chance
- Dodge Chance
- Life on Hit
- Sprint Chance
- Poison/All resistance
- Attack/Global Crit Chance
- Attack/Global Crit Multiplier
- Attack Speed
Rune of Flurry may be used in pairing with a high damage spear to deal large amounts of damage in a short period of time.
Lynxes generally use Shields as the preferred offhand slot item because of its block chance implicit stat being more useful than the Spell Crit Chance and Multi implicits of the Tomes.
List of Builds
Most builds are designed around a certain spirit and a level 20 character. Before level 20, different stats might be more important to kill mobs and level up as fast as possible so players can start working on getting the strongest endgame gear. It's probably best to focus on reaching level 20 before specializing your build.

Passive tree choices
Choose depending on which improves dpt more, the first tree is typically stronger due to the % of a single stat roll the nodes represent (the difference is a 3.5 chance node vs a 40 multi node, the chance node represents a little more than one max roll while the multi node represents about 1.3x of a max roll)
How to use :
The main idea is getting as much crit chance/mult and strength/physical increase and using flurry to deal massive damage
- The cowl of obscurity is an important survivability tool
- Having a solid ~900 hp, decent armor/resist (poison for Temple/Estuary) help to not getting one shot
- Having some mana regen and using Tranquility can help alleviate the high mana cost of flurry
Flurry is NOT a consistent source of damage, so this build is abnormally reliant on RNG

How to use :
You deal damage + regen hp with the Harvest life rune ( + some hp regen from the Cowl of obscurity )
- Having a good 1200+ hp, 50+ hp regen, decent armor/resist (poison for temple/esturay) help a lot to not die too fast from the damage you take from ennemies / Steelclaw self damage
- Having enough mana regen to be able to spam Harvest life is a must have
- As 4th rune you can use a 3rd Harvest / 2nd Charge / Tranquility / Innervation

Passive tree :
- here : Must have point
How to use :
This build is not very good at the moment because we don't have real tank runes (Like aggro keep rune). But I tested it and it is pretty tanking enough.
- The defensives stats must be 90%+ perfect and you need a nice pool of hp/hp regen to never be one shot
- You can also use a Cowl of Obscurity for some free heal (But you deal low damage)
- The 2 charges is used to spam charge stun monsters (Need ~20% mana regen) and help other to not be hit by them
(This build will have big rework when new rune will be added !)

How to use :
- The defensives stats must be really good and you need a decent amount of vital to never be one shot
- The build allows for 2-in-1 damage + heal, the stats can always be adjusted to be more tank or more dmg
- The tank stats are not super high as this is supposed to be able to deal decent dmg too
- You can also use a Cowl of Obscurity for some free heal (But you deal lower damage)
- The charge is used for initial stun and to get aggro

Passive tree : here
- Chose where to put the 2 last points (Depend if you need crit or multi)
How to use :
The main idea is getting as much crit chance/multi and strength/physical increase and using flurry to deal massive damage
- The cowl of obscurity will help you by healing you a lot
- Having a solid ~900 hp, decent armor/resist (poison for Temple/Estuary) help to not getting one-shot
- Having some mana regen and using Tranquility can help because of the 12 mana cost of flurry
Flurry has gotten a significant nerf now, and it cant be used with one-handed items. This makes flurry lynx a much worse build, as you would need to use a two-hand weapon for it to work.

Depending on the situation, this build can be very powerful. This is especially useful in places where mobs are aggressive like Estuary, so you can get to mog faster and farm way faster. It is also the dominant build in the festival of the sun event. (This build might not work anymore after 10.6 update) written by Polfy
Owl
Support Owl (Healer)
The healer's job is to put to rest any worry the team has of dying. They tend to achieve this by running 1 or 2 Rune of Consecrate and spamming them halfway in between themselves and whoever their team is fighting, allowing melee fighters and any other owls on their team to be healed.
Healers generally stand away from the main battle so that if monsters turn their target to them, their team can charge/ambush or smite the monster, preventing it from attacking the Healer, and re-obtaining aggro. They must be close enough to be healed by their own cons, especially around monsters with ranged attacks because the act of consing may acquire a monster's aggro. If the healer or anyone else is in critical condition, they can use a Rune of Healing Touch which gives a stronger, but single-target heal.
Healers generally often run 2 or 3 Runes of Tranquility to prevent themselves and their teammates from running out of mana. This is crucial because of the high mana cost of Consecrate.

How to use :
Your job is spamming your 2 consecrates where your party members are. Always try to be close to your party members to ensure you are being healed too (enemies can still attack you)
- This build can swap from heal to attack by just swapping runes, without being too disadvantaged or having to swap a lot of gear but this only covers the mana specialization of the owl that allows it to cons without easily running out of mana.
- If enough players have equipped tranquilities the player may swap a tranq for an attack owl rune to deal damage.
- This build can vary amounts of cast speed, spell crit, intellect and mana stats based on personal choice.
- It is recommended to use 1 or 2 Runes of Tranquility for your party members because of the large mana cost of consecrate. (The Sash of souls will help to reduce the mana reserve of your tranquility)
- You still get loot/exp if you heal a party member that damages a monster

How to use :
Your job is spamming your 2 consecrates where your party members are. Always try to be close to your party members to ensure you are being healed too (enemies can still attack you)
- The steelclaw's bite allows for 100% crit chance but causes takeback of damage. Healing with the bite, however, does not make you take damage but still makes your heals crit.
- The owl cannot easily tank the damage from the Steelclaw's Bite, your main focus should be healing and not attacking.
- For stats, focus on multi and int. Ignore crit chance.
- It is recommended to use 1 or 2 Runes of Tranquility for your party members because of the large mana cost of consecrate. (The Sash of souls will help to reduce the mana reserve of your tranquility)
- You still get loot/exp if you heal a party member that damages a monster
There is a high chance that Bite healing will be nerfed in future updates which will make this build obsolete.

Sniper Owl
The strategy of the Sniper is to use their unique ability of ranged attacks to their advantage. Using Smite and Ice Spear, they can slow the advance of an enemy, allowing time to cast Magic Missile and use it to deal massive damage. As the end goal of a Sniper is to kill their target before it reaches them. This allows the owl to focus on high damage output, at the cost of low armor and vitality. For this reason, owls are very vulnerable to being one-shotted by powerful ranged attacks, such as those from many bosses Snipers feel at home when using their range advantage to avoid taking much damage, and thus are vulnerable once they are within melee range, or when fighting enemies that also have ranged attacks. Because of this weakness, it is highly recommended that all Snipers run a Rune of Consecrate or a Rune of Healing Touch, for healing.

How to use :
Your job is dealing large amounts of damage from a distance. Maintain distance to avoid meelee attacks, and always try to be close to a healer to ensure you are being healed (snipe owls are glass cannons and die easily)
- This build can swap from attack to heal by just swapping runes, without being too disadvantaged or having to swap a lot of gear but this only covers the damage specialization of the owl that allows it to compound insane amounts of damage from a distance.
- If enough players have equipped tranquilities the player may swap a tranq for an attack owl rune to deal damage.
- This build can vary amounts of cast speed, spell crit, intellect and mana stats based on personal choice.
- This build may swap around attack owl runes depending on the situation.
- If your build involves mana-high runes you may want to focus on mana stats too.
