Herbs
Herbs are a type of crafting material that can be gathered from the ground. Successfully gathering an herb gives ~25 experience. Herbs are stackable and only take one inventory space per type. Currently, they do not serve any function, although they are likely to be used in alchemy or crafting in the future.
