Crystal Whelks are monsters that can be found in the Crystal Caves in Fjolarok. Crystal Whelks will attack players hit by their gas attack, which is yellow and has a range of around 3-4 tiles, and drop digested crystals when killed. The Akarei will attack crystal whelks when hit by their gas attack.
Crystal snails have a 35% chance of dropping and item, and a 30% chance of dropping a digested crystal.
