Gold[edit]

Gold is the main currency of Isleward. Players can use gold to trade various items with non-player characters (NPC). The amount of gold you currently have is displayed in the basic tab of the character sheet (J key).

Currently, you cannot trade gold with other players, instead, idols, essence, and cards are the primary trading currency.

Obtaining[edit]

To obtain gold, simply sell your items with NPCs who are willing to trade with you. Higher level or quality items can be sold for more gold.

You can purchase the item back from the same NPC should you change your mind about you just sold.

A popular item to sell is Sun Carp from fishing. While runes also tend to sell well, most will use them or salvage them instead for essence.
