Augmentation
Augmentation is a way to add random stats to items.
To augment, right click on an item. Then, click on the augment box. Alternatively, players may press M
and click on the framed box to select an item from the inventory to augment. Augmenting requires crafting materials obtained through salvaging.
Items may be augmented an unlimited number of times, but the number of crafting materials increases with each successful augment, and the success rate decreases with each successful augment. A failed augment consumes crafting materials and removes all previous augments from the item. Higher quality items also require more crafting materials to augment.
NOTE: Runes and some special equipment like Competition Rods cannot be augmented.
Scouring
Scouring removes any augmentations at a low cost of crafting materials.
