Cutthroat is a level 11 rare monster that can be found in the Fjolgard Sewers. It is a stronger version of a bandit, and occasionally spawns in place of one. The Cutthroat can be identified from a regular bandit by the square marking around it. The Cutthroat is able to use rune normally used by players, thus rendering some Cutthroats more dangerous than others.

Like other rare monsters, the Cutthroat always drops magic items or better, and this it is recommended to fight the Cutthroat in a group, decreasing the difficulty of the battle and enabling multiple players to obtain loot. Unlike other rare monsters the Cutthroat is more likely to use the rune ambush than any other rune.
