RJain12: Isleward is a game under development. This means that things are constantly being developed.

What do I do when I find a bug?
Why do bugs happen?
Isleward is a game under development.
The developer, Big Bad Waffle, makes new features and enhancements often allowing for many pesky bugs to creep in!
The code can interact in unexpected ways, and some bugs may be triggered only under specific circumstances, and thus not caught before updates are released.
Because of this, we need YOU to help catch bugs!

What should I do if I find a bug?
First, if there are other players online, it may be a good idea to confirm through the chat that the bug you have found is genuine, and not already known.

If you have found a new bug, or others are not online, there are currently two main ways to report bugs.
One way is to report on the Isleward Discord.
Go to <code>#isleward</code> and explain the bug.
Someone will eventually report your bug.

The better way is to report the bug yourself through GitLab.
Make an account and create an issue.
Instead of signing up for an account, you can also log in using another external service such as GitHub.

If Big Bad Waffle is currently in-game, talking with him can also help get the bug logged.
Sometimes the bug can be hotfixed immediately or it will make him aware of the issue.
Other people in-game might also log the issue for you.

Make sure you take screenshots of proof of your bug, or a way to reproduce it.
It may help the developer.

Finally, an in-game method of reporting is currently being developed and may be released in the future.

<div align="center">Good luck catching bugs!</div>
The Necromancer is an intellect and strength class in Isleward. Necromancers start with a Scythe and two runes: Blood Barrier and Summon Skeleton. These runes are affected by intellect and strength Necromancers fight by attacking monsters, but taking little damage due to the presence of the Necromancer's Skeletal Minion, which also deals a small amount of damage. The scythe item also has a harvest life ability which again, makes the necromancer takes little to none damage.
Guide
Because skeletal minions have a health proportional to the summoner's health, having a large amount of Vitality can be helpful for producing a tanky minion. In addition, some amount of health regeneration enables Necromancers to use Blood Barrier more times during a battle, allowing the same Skeletal Minion to survive and distract monsters longer. Grouping with Clerics is recommended for the Circle of Healing skill.
When equipped with a fishing rod, players can walk to certain "bubbly" areas of water and press <code>G</code> to fish. Currently, the only catchable fish are Sun Carp, which come in different sizes.

Fishing Competition
The fishing competition is an event that occurs on Fjolarok every day at 19:00 UTC.
When Angler Nayla appears next to the dock north of the Hermit's Shack, players can participate in the fishing competition by catching Ancient Sun Carp at locations where players normally catch Sun Carp.
The competition gives players 10 minutes to prepare, and then 10 minutes to fish.
The player who caught and handed in the largest Ancient Sun Carp earns Angler's Marks, which can be exchanged for better fishing rods and Cerulean Pearls, which are used to augment fishing rods. Cerulean Pearls cost 4 Angler's Marks each, whereas fishing rods cost different amounts of Angler's Marks depending on their rarity.
The top three entrants win Angler's Marks (35, 20 and 10) which can be traded in for Cerulean Pearls, Common Fishing Rods, Magic Fishing Rods and Rare Fishing Rods.
Players must use the Competition Rod to participate, which can be obtained from Angler Nayla for free, thus obviating the need to buy a Flimsy Fishing Rod from the Hermit.
Also known as the Sailor of Souls, the Pumpkin Sailor searches for human souls claimed by the sea and stores them in jars. However, Lord Squash lures and traps souls using forged runes.

Rare monsters occasionally spawn in the place of regular monsters, and have 1.5 times as much health and deal 1.5 times as much damage. Rare monsters always drop <span style="color:#3FA7DD">magic</span> items or better, and can use one or skills normally used by players. As a result, some rare monsters of the same type are easier to defeat than others, as the Circle of Healing skill confers nearly no utility for the monster, whereas the Summon Skeleton skill can significantly increase the difficulty. It is recommended to fight rare monsters in groups, as all participating players will receive loot, and it is easier to deal with the monster's skills.
