The Akarei are a faction with the name The Akarei. The description is The last descendents of the ancient Akarei. It has no relations or rewards, but has a unique stat and sells equipment with a chance to cast a lightning bolt when you critically hit an enemy. Players can improve their reputation with the Akarei by collecting Digested Crystals from Crystal Snails and giving them to the Akarei deep within the Crystal Caves. The Akarei need these crystals to power their portal to return their home, which they suspect may be under attack from an evil force.
